Dr. Faith is a Procurement Executive with vast work experience that spans the private and public sector including a top four commercial bank, a public university and two of the largest State-Owned Entities (SOEs) in South Africa. In 2019, she became one of twelve South African professionals to gain the prestigious Fellow (FCIPS) global recognition by CIPS UK, which is a senior advocate status with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

The Procurement Ninja has been celebrated as one of the leading women on influential platforms, including Women Power Africa, CIPS Africa, Supply Network Africa, SmartProcurement, HERS-SA and Strategic African Women in Leadership (SAWIL). Dr. Faith currently serves as Chairperson: CIPS Gauteng Branch and continues to excel as an inspirational contributor, speaker and thought leader in Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

Dr. Faith’s research interests include exploring inclusive business as a dynamic approach for facilitating access to markets for SMEs. Notably, Dr. Faith has been recognised on the list of Top 100 Most Influential Supply Chain Women in Africa (AWISCA) while Truss Empowerment Foundation lauded her as one of 18 exemplary Female Supply Chain Practitioners in Africa.

Makgarebe A Mahikeng is a cause co-founded and jointly led by my sister, Amantle Mokubung and I. The cause is rooted in our shared passion for the empowerment of women in our hometown, Mahikeng. Since 2019, we have continued to showcase a network of women who form part of the talent that the city of Mahikeng has produced over the years. In celebration of our 1 year anniversary in 2020, we produced a range of t-shirts for womxn to wear these shared values across their chests.
